Through our electronic trading venue, our marketplace brings together buyers and sellers of derivative contracts on Digital Assets. Our electronic platform increases the accessibility and transparency of the Digital Asset markets and enhances trust, speed and quality of trade execution. Additional, products in the product pipeline include Freight, Weather and Hashing futures. Freight and Weather will be launched in partnership with entities that act as brokers in these markets or large participants e.g. shipping companies. The open architecture of our business model — meaning our ability to offer centralized access to trading in futures on a decentralised cleared basis through multiple interfaces — allows our participants to optimize their trading operations and strategies.
At ADE, we will offer market participants price transparency, a full market depth view, liquid markets and transactional integrity all at a fixed low cost.

At launch, ADE will operate a simple and flat pricing structure across the board for all contracts. Each trade executed on the platform will incur an execution and clearing fee, while integrated third-party custodians (who hold client funds) may impose costs associated with withdrawals of digital assets and/or other services (as outlined in their respective client agreements).
The extremely competitive fee structure offered by ADE includes a Market Data Fee and a flat trading fee.
All fees charged are in pounds sterling.
All ADE systems and operational procedures are designed and built with active, institutional trading in mind. As such, ADE will operate a simple flat pricing structure across the board for all listed contracts. Execution will start from £0.07 per lot traded (e.g. 1 BTC) while Market Data fees will start from £30 PCM. ADE will aim to keep its charges approximately 25 x cheaper than those of other, comparable venues.
For firms that have been onboarded by ADE and their respective clearing member, we offer access to the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) environment to test strategies and connectivity. Additionally, ADE is happy to provide API documentation for the integration of client or third-party built trading applications. ADE requires all third-party applications interacting with ADE-operated systems to be certified using the ADE Application Certification Process. This is the case for both Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) looking to market their front end as ADE-compliant and for end-users certifying their internal systems.
Application Programming Interface ADE offers API integration to its clients for accessing all of the available interfaces. For trading integration, ADE offers a choice of Binary, FIX, or JSON real-time API's.
Depending on the desired functionality and client expertise, clients can choose one of the available options. The Binary API offers the lowest latency, JSON the highest amount of functionality - while FIX is the industry standard, assuring easy portability.
UAT Access Request Clients wishing to test the matching engine, risk systems, and their proprietary strategies can request access to ADE's User Application Testing Environment (UAT).
The UAT environment has been up since Feb 2020 and is populated by many algorithmic market-making bots that provide pricing based on real-time prices from the spot/derivatives markets.
